Al Shurta SC (Arabic: نادي الشرطة الرياضي), also known as Al Shurta Baghdad, is a professional Iraqi football club based in Baghdad, that plays in the Iraqi Super League. Founded in 1932, Al Shurta is one of the most successful football teams in Iraqi history, having won 10 Iraqi league championships and 11 Iraqi FA Cups.
The club also participates in various other sports, including volleyball, and wrestling. Al Shurta is owned by the Iraqi Police Sports Association and is considered a police sports club. The club's home ground is Al Shurta Sports City.
Al Shurta's biggest rivals are Air Force Club, Al-Zawraa, and Al Talaba. The team has a large fan base in Baghdad and across the country. It has a long history of success and is one of the most popular football teams in the Middle East.
