The Tianjin Ronggang Pioneers (simplified Chinese: 天津荣钢先行者; traditional Chinese: 天津榮鋼先行者; pinyin: Tiānjīn Rónggāng Xiānxíngzhě) or Tianjin Ronggang or Tianjin Pioneers are a Chinese professional basketball team based in Tianjin, which plays in the Northern Division of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). The Ronggang Import & Export Trade Company, Ltd., is the club's corporate sponsor while its mascot is a gold lion.
History
Tianjin's team joined the league ahead of the 2008–09 CBA season as an expansion club, and is still seeking its first championship as of the 2015–16 CBA season.
톈진 파이어니어는 중국 농구 협회(CBA) 소속 팀이다. 톈진시를 연고로 하는 팀으로, 홈 구장은 톈진 아레나이다. 팀의 전신은 1956년에 창단된 톈진 농구팀이다. 팀은 1995년에 CBA에 가입했지만, 2003년에 재정난으로 인해 해산되었다. 2007년에 팀이 재창단되었고, 2010년에 CBA로 복귀했다. 팀은 2017년에 CBA 파이널에 진출했지만, 광저우 롱라이언스에게 패배했다. 팀의 주요 선수로는 중국 국가대표인 주천리, 사딩, 이쉬안이 있다.
